Recurring Service Nights

Join Us at Our Monthly Volunteer Projects.

Our members show up monthly at partner nonprofits — bringing pizza, games, and connection to kids and seniors.
Windwood Home for Children

The Windwood Farm Home's mission is "providing help, hope, and healing through behavioral, educational, and therapeutic interventions that enhance social functioning and well-being, that ensures safety, and that works to achieve positive permanency for children and families in our community."

We are known as the "pizza and games crew" because we bring pizza and play board games with about 15-20 kids a month. Members and kids both have a great time, making this one of our most popular events despite the distance.

Sweetgrass Village Senior Living

On the fourth Tuesday of each month, we visit the Sweetgrass Senior Living community in Mount Pleasant to play Bingo with the residents there. We call out the numbers, help our fellow table members win, and hand out a variety of prizes that we supply each month. Competition is fierce at times but everyone has a great time.

Sweetgrass Senior Living bills itself as a "warm and welcoming senior living community offering spacious, elegant assisted living apartments, as well as rehabilitation services and respite/short stays for when caregivers are unavailable."

East Cooper Meals on Wheels

The East Cooper Meals on Wheels, which is also our monthly Happy Hour, is held on the third Thursday of each month. The venue varies each month depending on where we decide for happy hour, with recent venues including the Royal American and Taco Boy. Each month we assemble over a dozen packages for delivery to the East Cooper Meals on Wheels for delivery to residents in need. While it doesn't take a lot of time to do, it means a lot of the people who receive them.

Established in 1985, the East Cooper Meals on Wheels delivers over 134,000 meals in the local area.

One80 Place

Held on the second Wednesday of each month, One80 Place is a relatively new activity for the Charitable Society. The mission of One80 place is to provide food, shelter, and services to help individuals, Veterans, and families turn their lives around. They have facilities in Charleston and Summerville, with the Charleston facility catering to women and children.

Each month, we go and play games with the children that are currently housed there. The kids enjoy the opportunity to hang out and play with us. Located downtown, One80 place has become a popular event for our members.
